Jason received his degree in Construction Science and Management from Kansas State University, with additional studies in Architecture and Design. He started work for Dick Otke Construction Company in 1999 after working for a Construction Management firm in Sacramento, CA. Prior to that Jason had worked on various construction projects both in High School and College. These projects ranged from working as a laborer for family owned companies to being his own General Contractor. Jason became a partner in DOCC in 2008.
During his employment at Dick Otke Construction Company, Jason was hired to manage construction of projects around the state of Missouri and Colorado. These duties included land acquisition, preliminary estimating, design and construction management, training, closeout, and ongoing support for many quick lube, car wash, and dry clean facilities. His duties currently include estimating, scheduling, project management, and development of new projects. His most recent projects in Osage Beach, MO include Central Ozarks Medical, St. Mary’s Clinic, and Kwik Kar Wash, Detail, & Lube.
Jason resides in Jefferson City with his wife Jami and two sons. Jason is a member of the Jefferson City and Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. He is active in the Jefferson City Chamber of Commerce serving on the Executive Board and Chair of the Chamber BBQ, as well as serving on the HBA Board and Construction Committee for SOMO Training for Life Campus.
